I thrive on keeping students enthusiastic about their progress and looking forward to their next milestone. Learning is not linear and it is gratifying for me to find out how a student thrives and work with them at setting their goals and witnessing their achievements. Also, I can teach from the heart with a passion for flying that will promote the next generation of aviators. All from an office with the greatest view in the world, which keeps me smiling everyday I come to work! As a career instructor, your flying goals are my full time commitment.

Available most days or evenings by appointment.

Training Programs Offered: Private Pilot, Instrument Pilot, Commercial Pilot, G1000 initial and transition training, ongoing proficiency training for the licensed pilot needing to stay active and current.

Background:!California native with a background in small business ownership for over 25 years. Platform speaker, educator, and organizational director for various industry events.

Interesting Facts: In 1988, my first flight was in a single engine airplane flown by an acquaintance. I sat in the backseat, engrossed with the pilots technique and knew from that flight that I wanted to learn to fly. We departed Pearce Field (now gone) and arrived in San Carlos. I had never heard of San Carlos Airport before that flight. In 1991 I moved to Belmont where I watched planes departing off of Runway 30 and would tell everyone I knew that one day it would be me in that plane. I gave myself the birthday gift of a discovery flight at KSQL and turned my dream of becoming a pilot into a personal goal. Halfway through my private pilot training, I knew I was destined to be a professional pilot. Along with flight instructing, I am a pilot for a small start up company and also flying for a charter company in a KingAirBE200 at KSQL, in which I accomplished my initial type rating. My recommendations for a new pilot: #1 Start a ground school study program either before or during your initial flight training

#2 Keep reminding yourself that flying will be the most rewarding and gratifying thing you may ever do in your lifetime.

#3 A good pilot is always learning, so come on down to the airfield and meet your mentors! Id love to meet you!
